Nghiên cứu đánh giá hiện trạng bảo vệ nguồn lợi hải sản vùng biển ven bờ tỉnh Quảng Nam

Abstract

     The study used the method of surveying and surveying activities of exploitation and protection of marine resources in coastal area of Quang Nam province. The results show that the contingent of inspectors in the province is inadequate, incomplete facilities. The inspection activities for the protection of marine resources in Quang Nam province is considered to be quite good, the propaganda on dissemination of policies and regulations of country on capture fisheries has been implemented quite sufficiently. The illegal fishing is still occurring in some fishing: about 92.0% of fishing vessels violate mesh size and 30.0% of fishing vessels violate fishing grounds. On the fishermen's opinion, about 31.3% of respondents said that the use of fishing gear was illegal. Causes of fishermen are due to: people's awareness is not high (about 47.7% of respondents said); the management of staff is weak (about 50.8% of respondents); and 9.2% said that the propaganda of local people was not good.
