Abstract
Research used survey data supported by 65 fishermen households, 28 fishing batchs during 11/2020 to 5/2021, and fishery logbooks recorded from 2015 to 2020, issued by the Cham Islands Marine Protected Area Authority. Research results show that: the trammel nets is still artisanal within fishing ground around the islands, low CPUE and income of labor; The impact of trammel nets on marine resources was significantly, with 100% bycathed sea turtle, causing great harm to coral reefs, fish species of ecological and economic value.
