Abstract
Study and evaluation of hramful actions of fishing gears on marine aquatic resources at coastal and inshore waters in Nghe An province aiming at providing scientific evidences for management of fishing boats as well as improvement protection works of fisheries resources which leading the fisheries activities in Nghe An develop in sustainable trend. Based on survey results with 4 kind of fishing gears which have fishing activities at coastal and inshore regions showing that all fishing gears having hramful actions on marine economic species during fishing procedure. Depending on fishing gears and season, rate of invasion to fisheries resources is different.
Average rate of invasion to fisheries resources calculated by year as follows: stick held falling net is 94.4%; trawl net is 87.0%, gill net is 74.2%, and mixed trap is 72%. The rate of invasion also is different with fishing gears and seasons, that are the trawl net and the gill net having number of species or group of species are invased with higher rate in Southwest moonsoon if compared with the Northeast moonsoon. On contrary, the stick held falling net and the mix trap has number of species or group species is invased in Northeast moonsoon with higher rate than in the Southwest moonsoon.
