Abstract
Experiment used bacteriocin in treat white spots in the internal organs disease of fingerling catfish (Pangasianodon hypophthalmus) caused by Edwarsiella ictaluri. Tageted to find new ingredient that can replace antibioti for treatment white spots in the internal organs disease in catfish and safe for the health of humans. Experimental treament was carried out by injection of E. ictaluri bacteria into healthy striped catfish at infectious dose 50, and feed supplemented bacteriocin with four different experiment (NT1: 10 mL/Kg; NT2: 20 mL/ Kg; NT3: 30 mL/ Kg and NT4: 40 mL/ Kg of feed), each experiment was repeated 3 times. The result of injectious dose 50 of E. ictaluri bacteria was 6.8 × 107 CFU/mL. Results of treatment showed that survival rate highest in experimental treatment of NT4 was 92.22 % and ralative survival rate (RPS) was 91.86 % and significant difference statistically with the other treatments.
