Abstract

     Automatic control systems keep an important role in the operation of ships, which ensure that ships operate safely, reasonably and reliably through monitoring of the working parameters of the machinery on board. Until now, in our country, the dynamics of fi shing vessels are mostly simple, not equipped with control and warning systems, not safe for use with fi shing vessels. This paper presents a design that allows the application of PLCs, which are commonly used devices to build automatic control systems in the industry today, to build a suitable warning system for the safety of propulsion system on the fi shing vessels. Manufactured products have been tested on an engine test stand and provided reliable test data in comparison with standard gauge equipment.
